Default Insurance Question

I can't post in off-topic section yet so I am posting it here. Sorry for the wrong section.

Question is, does uninsured motorist from a liability insurance cover hit and run? Thanks!

driver A has liability insurance, and uninsured motorist additional option with it.

driver A's gets into an accident and the other car fled the scene.

Is driver A covered by his own insurance in this case?

and it has to do with how much you put in, people don't understand that, you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for to an extent, all companies rates are different, just get quotes from major companies and go with the best. Check www.epinions.com for lots of customer reviews, don't believe the media, whatever they say. GEICO's commercials say 97% customer satisfaction, Epinions says 4.5/5 which is 90%, but a lot of reviews say much less.

If your car gets involved in a hit and run incident and you file a claim it would fall under Collision insurance, but you would be covered regardless, and your rates would increase as well.
