ADR, I have a bottle of real absinthe from the U.K. (along with the slotted spoon, and these sugar cubes that look like either a spade, diamond, club or heart) and you drip the sinthe through the slotted spoon (with the cube on it) and the absinthe passes through it, then you light it, it carmalizes (spelling?) the sugar in the drink, then you mix it.. The bottle I got was a 750ml (1/2 a liter, right?) and cost like $110 shipped from UK, and $20 of that was shipping, and our cash is weak compared to the pound..

The stuff tastes like DRINKING SCOPE (mouthwash) and is a pretty intense drink. Its brewed with wormwood (illegal here in the US to purchase in the US, but you can import it) and has a wicked buzz.. Definatly not a casual drink, and its HARD for me to get it down.. In some movies they show all the "tripping" and stuff, but that doesnt really happen as much as they portray it. It will alter you though, and its not just the alcohol. They also make a red, which I *think* should taste like fireballs (goldschalger, spelling?)

Anyways since everyone else is having a drink I might as well too. I like wine tho!
