the scion airbox was designed to give the car a CAI sounds. also it does allow a bit more air to pass through the intake then most OEM air boxes. It is all completely normal, all it does is sound cool and give ur car more air.

yeah man i was having a ball with him, and he was the meat head type, i guess he thinks his gt adds some weight in the pants haha
