Default It's time to move on... traded the tC.. UPDATED - 56k BEWARE

For an off lease 2006 Whitewater Pearl Mazdaspeed6 GT... at first I was a little bummed because the tC was the first new car I ever bought, right out of college and it was definitely what I wanted at the time!

However, recently my mood has changed with the tC... it didn't have enough room for me and I was growing out of the 2-door coupe phase.

I had been looking for several months, heck since last September, and finally decided to pull the trigger on this Speed6. It was the perfect price, condition, and color.

Plus the dealer was willing to give me $8800 for my tC that had over 73k miles. The car really held it's value well... I made about $2500 on it and that was with really nothing down when I purchased the car.

I haven't had time to take any photos yet on my own... I just got the Speed6 yesterday and it was a 6+ hour drive home.

I'll post a couple from the dealers site that are still up and will post more (if desired) tomorrow evening...

I'll be sticking around here and will still be a huge advocate for the Scion community, no questions asked!

EDIT: Removed dealer photos

Nice. If I could find one of these locally I wouldn't hesitate to trade in my tC either.

That is huge upgrade over a TC. AWD turbo > FWD N/A & with a few mods people have ran high 12's with them.

Good choice OP! I always wanted one, but when I was in the market they were still too high.

not a bad choice. It's too bad you got rid of the tC but it's kind of hard to blame you. You were saying you were growing out of the tC and this car seems to fit your new style perfectly.. Have fun with it..

Hey thanks for all your comments!... I'm loving this car... and don't get me wrong, I always loved my tC and will miss it a bit, but it's not like I went from a tC to a Minivan or SUV.

I see this car as a huge upgrade... the turbo and AWD are huge pluses.

As a side note, with the huge difference in power between the Speed6 and my old tC, my insurance is only going up $100! I saw the article the other day about the tC being expensive to insure... just thought I'd throw that out there.

I just got done taking photos... will try and post some later tonight!

I happen to love the stocks!.. was a big appealing factor to me.

I have seen some Speed6's with RX-8 rims and it looks just okay... not as sporty in my opinion, but to each their own!
