I've upgraded...several times already!
Hello scionlife...many of you guys probably don't remember me, but I was very active on the forums a couple years back. I've been less active in the forum for quite some time now. Been hanging out at the other forums. I've upgraded from the tC and just wanted to come back and tell my story for anyone who cares or is bored and wanna read.
Back in 2006, I bought my first brand new car. It was a 2006 RS2.0 tC. I upgraded from a 2000 Toyota Corolla VE that my parents bought me after I graduated from High School in 2002.

My tC was supercharged and fully bolted (I/H/E). I drove my tC until Jan of 2008 when I upgraded to the Honda Civic Si.

The Civic Si was really much more fun than my tC. The interior was more attractive and comfortable than the tC. Hitting VTEC was really a joy. I've modded my Si with a CAI, header, and full exhaust. It was a really good car, but I was craving horsepower. My girlfriend needed a car, so I let her drive the Si and I picked up a 2009 Mazdaspeed3 in Jan of 2009.

So now, I was really happy with the 2.3L DISI Turbocharged MS3. I installed a CAI and had the boost raised to 18psi. Man it was fun to drive. The boost was awesome!! But, everytime I get into the MS3, I feel like its not the car for me. I feel like a middle aged male with a family driving a small wagon. I am young and didn't feel like keeping the MS3.
I dropped by a Nissan dealership and took a test drive in a 2010 370z. I did not intend to buy, but just wanted to see how the car felt. I loved it. But I didn't buy. As fate would have it, I won a $500 drawing from that dealership for taking a test drive. At first I thought it was a scam to get me back into the dealership, so I didn't call them back until after about a week. I called them and went in thinking that they are going to force me to buy a car. I arrived and they just handed me a $500 check. I was surprised and very happy. I still didn't buy the 370z though until a month later.
I finally found the trim and color that I wanted and bought the 370z for under invoice. I traded in my Mazdaspeed3.

Now I am driving my 2010 Nissan 370z and I'm loving it! Well, thats pretty much the gist of my car history. Comment or questions welcomed.

I make good income, but I also keep my credit score high by paying my bills always on time and never late. My debt to income ratio is also really low, which appeals to banks. All my cars are bought by myself with no cosigner or by my folks. I've made good decisions to establish an excellent credit history, so I guess these are the perks. Words of advice: finish college and get a good job! You will be happier. Don't swipe those credit cards too much.
Far from being upside down. I am not that foolish and impulsive to put myself in that situation in a loan.
wow, so great to see you are back. i loved your 2. =( you gave me some really great ideas back in the day. i miss those days. civic was a nice choice, however, somehow the four-doors are more appealing to me, MS3 i could never get into. props on the 370 though. you picked the best color. nissan has never gone wrong with their Z series. nice pick up. don't be a stranger!
Thanks Gloria.
And Daniel, the MS3 was super quick. Just a CAI and a tune will gain you 40+whp. Not to mention the amount of torque was pretty crazy!
I enjoyed each car I had owned. Great experience for me.
