Yes, the car will be LEGAL for the Cal Speedway event. It won't be up to the snuff in terms of the all-motor build, but it will have suspension, tires, all the basics, and of course the cage and everything that will make it legal to run in a NASA race.

As for NST, they are making a somewhat custom pulley set. We'll have the basic crank and w/p pulley, and they will be making a custom lightweight alternator pulley that will NOT overdrive, as that will not work on the track for us. Also, NST is doing some custom etching on the pulleys for our team.

At the moment we can say that it will be N/A, but making plenty of power, custom Progress suspension, hundreds of pounds lighter, 225/45ZR17 Nitto NT-01 R comps on 17x8 wheels, custom camber plates, track width increased by 1.5 inches or so...that kind of stuff.

We will eventually do a full specs sheet and you can check out all the cool details then.

Good luck in your upcomming season. Do the TC proud. I saw that you will be at Mid Ohio in Sept. ....I may have to come out and see that event. I have always wanted to see a true road racing event.

This looks and sounds like an awesome project. And good job with your list of supporters there, you won't find too many companies more popular than Dezod or NST around here

NST FTW! Hear they are rocking some pulleys for that car! Very cool! NST is doing an underdrive crank with lightweight versions of the alt and waterpump. So the normal underdrive pulley set but with a stock sized alt for a true 100% underdrive set.
