Why didnt you just use VHT? Isnt it way cheaper than that stuff too? If you want it darker just do more coats...

There is actually a big color difference, VHT is more purple and testors is more pure black. VHT does stand up better for automotive applications but if he is going to shoot it with automotive clear I guess it wont fade. Just like the engine enamel colors are ____ty compared to the brake colors but they each have their own applications.

 

totally agree with this, VHT.. you'll also need to put clear to make it nice and shinny, window tint spray u dont goes on glossy, but it is good to put clear to protect it from the sun
