wait
did someone just recommend using the stock exhaust with the Ptuning turbo kit with the base map?
wow....just wow....
rock the open downpipe/s-pipe until you get your ptuning exhaust or a full 3" exhaust and then get the tune.
i hated having no exhaust and i had my car through winter with the open dump...about 4-5 months

....No base map is going to have your car running that great no matter what exhaust you're running. Its a base map.
He shouldnt really be boosting on a basemap anyway and the ecu can compensate for different flowing exhausts well enough when in closed loop to keep the car running fine(ish)
Also, when I was on the basemap for my Dezod kit I drove for 1 day with open dump and then put my stock exhaust on and the car ran significantly better with the stock exhaust on. Just sayin

that's true it'll run better with an exhaust on due to the necessary back pressure any mildly modified turbo car BUT still...i would be worried about hurting the turbo...the stock exhaust is too restricting and it all depends on what kind of base map...a base map from Ptuning might be different from a base map from a certified greddy tuner...or a street tune...
either way...i'd rather run s-pipe than stock exhaust any day...open dump has less risks involving the turbo kit than putting the stock exhaust on
just sayin.

Bobby can u call me some time today turns out Kurts has the midpipe and the axel back. That should connect to the two piece downpipe also known as "s pipe"
The PTUNING Spec-SS turbo kit already comes with a full 3" downpipe. All you will need is to run the PTUNING 3" S-back exhaust system. You don't need the full turbo-back.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Mike @ PTUNING
