Just got my brand new Flint Mica 5-Speed tC!!!!!!
I'm totally sure no one cares, and I've been waiting to register for these forums until I got my car, but I totally picked one up today!!!!
I went down to Piercey Toyota in San Jose, CA to test drive a manual (I had previously test driven an automatic only) and order a tC when I realize the tC I was test driving was Flint Mica and only had the floor mats added to it.
I had originally wanted Flint Mica, then changed my mind to Black Sand Pearl, then after seeing them side by side at the dealership (the BSP was auto) and thinking about a 4 week plus wait for the BSP, I said screw it and decided to buy the Flint Mica then and there.
Now, I've maybe driven 1-2 hours of manual in my entire 5 years of driving, so this will definitely be an interesting experience. I stalled out on a hill today and I know I was burning my clutch for probably about the first hour. It's gotten better and I'm sure I drive like a grandma, but it's a lot smoother. When I got the car 10 miles.... after one day (not even one day, I got the car at 9pm)... 78. Luckily, I am self-employed and work at home so this car will not be getting heavy mileage.
Anyways, that was my overly long intro and I totally ____ing love this car. Feels so good to not only have a brand new car, but to realize I totally paid for it myself with MY hard earned money (and half of the car paid down); as opposed to the bucket my parents bought me when I was 16.
That's all I have, I hope my baby is okay outside
lol
