well the HID's i ordered are 10000k which are as everyone knows blue, too blue for me actually so i'ma sell them. i should of gotten 8000k well a few hrs after i install them i wait for it to get dark and take em out for a spin within a couple hrs i see a cop driving in the opposite lane passes me the breaks a u turn, so i already know why he turned around so by the time he catches up i'm already pulled over. as hes walking up he flashes his flashlight at my plate which says i'm an iraqi freedom veteran which saved my ___ tonight from getting a ticket. he starts saying how my 35% window tint is too dark you can see right threw it the damn windows still its not even that dark. well he then goes up to my headlights and puts a piece of paper up to them to see if theres any white in em. luckly there is. so i got off with a verbal warning about my tints and said i'll probably get stopped again cause of my lights. Which i'm sure i will. so perks of being a Marine... it gets you out of tickets... well this time at least.

 

ouch that sucks, but you're lucky you got off. i have a friend who got a ticket for 8000k, so i'm not sure if you should get 8000k next.

 

ya i have a bunch of cops in my fam so that usually gets me off...not always though. whats the tint law in PA?

 

what about 6k? anyone know if you will get pulled over? I just ordered 6k HIDs

 

I have 6k. Looks like OEM HID (4300k) to the eye, but diamond white on the ground.

you'll definatly be alright with 6k.

 

he said 70% or so. but i plan on becoming a cop soon too. when i do I WILL NOT harass tuners for dumb things unless its a ricer now those guys i will. lol.

 

NEVER gotten pulled over for my lights....i have 8k from oznium.com and they are pretty blue, but some of the more expensive cars have really bluish lights as well...

the only thing ive been pulled over for is bumpin too loud :D

yea there okay but since i have projector lights with ccfl rings it lights up really blue like you can even see the any white in it at all.

Ran them fine for 1 1/2 years. Check pointed, driving behind and in front of cops till this old cop decided to pull me over one day cause he never saw hids before..

Got me a 4300k kit the very day lol

damn those are really blue, prob cuz the projestors but wow, are those the xentec
