hey wats up guys. Im Dan just registered yesterday.. as you can see this is like my 3rd post. Im getting a stock 10 Magnetic Gray tomorrow or if not ASAP.
Basic profile->currently student, located deep south in AL & knows nothin bout cars or modding. Lotta help would be appricated.

Um not much to say yet really. Im thinking about some lite mods or maybe just some touchups.
definitly the bue led dome lights + vdr grills. (BTW where can i get an tC badge? dont got non on ebay)
And maybe trd springs?
Um so yea looking forward to hav fun and meet some good ppl round here.

first mod that everyone is gonna tell you to get is drop your car.

I personally like tien htech for comfort and a great drop.

but other than that go crazy.

 

Welcome, I would stay away from the blue led dome lights, I had them and they got extremely annoying. Like he said everyone is going to say drop you car, I have trds and love them but I want to go lower. Just a words of advise, keep it simple. Everything looks better if you dont go crazy with wild add ons.

Tein h techs are good. I love my stechs but it's a bit low for some people. A greedy spectrum elite axle back looks very good and isn't too loud, I love mine.

 

Do some of the basic mods like intake, exhaust, a drop, wheels of course. I wouldn't get headers though even though u power increase, unless u are OK with a raspy exhaust.

 

yea I hav been debating too myself bout how im lowering it. its basically trd vs. tein n tech for me. trd seems a lot cheaper though. but how much lower does tein n tech get? i believe trd is 35mm?

@DJ: lol. does led get annoying? it looks cool from the pics. i guess ill get a set anyways since its fairly cheap. thanks for info though.

@Campos: is that pic on your profile w/ tein n tech isntalled? looks some what perfect to me. how much you pay for em?


btw i didnt really get a answer of where i might be able to get some tC logo badges. Im thinking about puttin it on the right side of front grill.

OP definetly drop it first, some HID's and the grills are a good idea but go VRD or FIG. they look the best. paint your stock wheels too!

 

Yea I had them and it looked cool and I like it for alittle while but it just got annoying getting in the car and having everything BRIGHT blue. So I switched them to white. I like them a lot more, gives the interior a more luxury look i guess, lol. The leds are cheap though I got them in white and blue for like $15

Welcome! For springs I would suggest the H&R sports. They are a lil more than others but its an awesome company and they lower the car perfectly in my book. Tien H-techs are good too. I would stay away from TRD. They have been known to have an uneven drop and dont lower much. Im sure you would hate to get TRD's and not be low enough then spend more money getting better ones.

But the SEARCH button is your friend. I suggest you do alot of reading on threads already posted so you can learn alot before you even have to think about asking a question. Your question has probably been answered already. But yea learn to not take everything to heart. Try and have fun.

ill have this in mind. TRDs are like half price of Tien. so i guess thats where it pays off getting HnR or Tien.
