Has anyone tryed this out? As long as you point the metal end of the key towards your car, you can be REALLY far away!

I was upstairs in my office building and my car was about a football field and some more away and it worked!!!

 

If you put it up to your chin, it works even further away.

 

Really?? Why sort of how when you touch a radio antenna it comes in clearer?

 

Because of the fillings in your teeth (if you have fillings), it makes the remote transmit farther away by holding it under your chin.

 

on my xB, i was on the 6th floor of a hospital and my xb was maybe 1/4 mile away

worked fine

 

no this is not true... i have no filling and this still works.... also works wit my FM transmitters... hmmm

i got an aftermarket security system and it'll work while im in the middle of my office through the walls and stuff. pretty cool. dono why ud need that tho lol.

Yeah I don't have any either. I thought it had to do with the electrical pulses of the brain.

 

I guess it could be wrong. This is what the car stereo place that installed my alarm told me. Oh well, my remote works up to a half mile away

This reminds of when I used to work at a market two years ago. I parked my car around the side where there were cameras. I would go into the room with the Monitors and since that room was just on the other side of the wall I would set off my alarm as people would walk right by it and watch the people jump. It was pretty fun. Good times.
