I've been noticing a pool of water on my passanger floormat...like a heavy pool...

Has anyone else had this problem??

 

nope, sounds like a faulty seal somewhere. take it to the dealer before it stops raining and you forget about it.

But seriously get it checked soon, if i were you if it was a faulty seal, have them replace the carpet aswell, it should be all covered under warranty. Have them replace it now or you will regret the smell later.

 

do you run your a/c alot?
my old corolla used to drip water on the passenger side when i ran the a/c, but it never pooled. i bet you have a leaky seal

 

i'm hearing its a leaky seal too

 

could also be a problem with your evaporator core

 

you should get your flux capacitor checked out too

where is it leaking from? is the pool just coming out of the passenger side floor?

 

water pooling on the floor sounds like a leak in the firewall.. I would get it checked out by a body shop or dealer imideatly. at least thats my experiecnce w/ that.

 

I work for scion i recomend you get it to the service department asap

 

I realize this thread is over a year old, but tcsciontist, what ended up happening when you brought it to the dealer? What did they have to fix? I'm having the same problem!

I dont think thats the case...when my a/c is on, there is no condensation on the ground even if sitting in the same spot for 10 minutes. Also, when I accelerate or brake, I can hear puddles of water swooshing around under the car!

 

Yeah I am too and my car is out of warrenty

 

it was the drain tube (or whatever its called) was knocked out of place - dunno how....all the seals were fine - at least for me
