Leather interior (not 56k friendly)
Just want to say thanks to:
Creative Compacts for a quick delivery and for taking the time to answer all my questions.
lvnurs for posting all the installation info. I wouldn't have tried the install myself if it weren't for your posts.
wyldkard- Sorry for copying your color/material combo but it was the best out of all that I saw.

The basic leather package from Creative Compacts is around $570 but I ordered mine with full leather (otherwise the side and back is vinyl I believe) and suede inserts which brought it up to a little over $800. Kinda expensive but the extra padding and the smell and feel of leather is worth it in my opinion.
Monarch- If you have a sweaty butt, I believe you can order the preforated leather.
Installation takes a while, esp. since I never did it before and didn't want to screw it up. I did the back seats one day then the two front seats the next day. Basically, you remove the old seat covers then install the leather ones. As long as you take your time and work the leather to fit correctly it should come out pretty good. It's kinda hard to do a step by step install but basically here is what is involved:
1. Remove seats and take off existing covers. This involves clipping the old hog rings as you remove the covers.
2. I used silicone spray on the seats to make it easier to slip the new covers on. Attach cover to seat using hog rings or zip ties. I found the rings to be easier and faster.
3. Work the leather continuously to avoid wrinkles and to ensure a snug fit.
4. Call the Katzkin tech help w/ any questions. They provide you w/ an 800 number and can answer any questions you might have.
Here is a photo of the rear seats...

There's a few wrinkles on the seats which I'll probably redo in the next few weeks. One good thing is that you can do it over if you don't like how it comes out the first time.

Installation is fairly simple considering the product comes ready for slip/tug/snap on application
You do have to remove previous seat cloths before tho.
so far I have yet to see anyone use my patterns.
Took the suede up the back... Leather is nice, but suede is more comfortable and breathes a bit more than leather.

If I had to do it again, I would do it again!
Also, the dark charcoal mathces the interior plastic the best... Black is a bit too black and I belive it would make the interior seem a bit off.

Those look GOOD!! ...and to think I spent $1199 at the dealership, when I could have spent half of that and installed it myself....although.....I AM very impatient person so I probably would have screwed it all up and had to pay for another one....so I guess it worked out...Congratulations on your leather seats...they're pretty sweet...
