I like that better than angle eyes. Gives a unique look to the TC while not looking like your ripping off BMW.

ive actually been thinking about this for a while but i didnt really wanna say anything. theoretically it should work but depending on how the light reflects in there... it may require more led's.

remember... a car is only unique if it isnt like anything else out there.

yep

the 7 series has LED eyelids:

the new 5 series actually has more interesting turn signals:

they look like they're cathode tubes or something.
looks pretty slick to me.

if your tC is the only tC that looks like a BMW 5 or 7 series, wouldn't that make it unique?

Its very easy to tap into the wire for your turn signals... esp since LEDs require verrry little energy... I would use a single LED and cut a small piece of reflective tubing (the same kind used to rice up car interiors with lighting) and send it thru the eyelid... then attach the LED to the tip of it... and thats it! (you might need to drill a little hole in the headlight assembly for the tube, but dont take my word on that part... I havent looked at it yet

That looks really sweet. I'd like to see it cleared out though. I think that would look even better.

I think the 6-series lights use a clear plastic (Lexan?) tube much like the factory Scion under dash lights. That way, the light is not actually in the assembly, but behind it, and the light illuminates the whole tube.

If you did this you could replace the Scion emblem with a BMW one then people would think you have a a new Beemer but you might have to change the grille so that it has the trademark BMW grille.
