All I need to do is check my cut off and seal up the lenses. My projectors are actually mounted to the original shrouds and their mounts. Any and all adjustments are done from the back using one bolt for both projectors, tighter to raise the cut off and loosen to lower. Pretty simple to use but took a min to think up. Let me know what ya all think!

PS more pics to come once installed and cut off's are set

More pics HAVE COME!!!!! (hence the edit)

I went to the junk yard and pulled the projectors out from an infinity j30. The person checking me out didn't know what they were so I got them cheap (45 bucks for all 4). They use the same bulbs we do so no extra effort needed in changing out my perfectly fine HIDS. The rest is all stock tc components; just been dremeled to fit the projectors. Cut out the backs to fit the projectors and sealed up using some pvc and a heat resistant silicon. That silicon is bomb but if you get it on your hands it looks like you went on a killing streak for a week, haha

To be 110% I'm kinda thinking, if there's an interest, to build a few more pairs. Since I get my parts for cheap you bet the finished product wont hurt the wallet... Something cool about these is I switched the highbeam location with the lows. So, the low beams are on the inside and the high beams are on the outside. I'll post up some pictures once they are on the car!

Not bad for the money invested. Personally I'd have put in some HID projectors if I was going through the trouble of a retro.

Also, you'll need to become a Trader before conducting any sales.

How do I go about becoming a trader? Just kinda had an idea and I'm running with it. Pluse we shall see how these hold up with my HIDs I already heave. Not really expecting any issues with the actual projectors. A number of j30 guys haven't had any issues with HIDs so idk why I should.

Just PM an admin. As long as you're doing custom, low volume sales it won't cost you anything.

Regarding the projectors, it's not that there's anything wrong with them. It's just that the optics are designed for halogen bulbs. That's why I said if I was doing a retro, I'd put in projectors designed for HIDs--at least for the low beams.

Right on bud, you had me scared there for a min. I do know you can pick up "clear glass" for the projectors based on the diameter and would have the "shape" for a HID projector. If you'd like to know some more I found a few great write ups that'll explain everything and anything projector for you.
