My friend and I designed it, he works at Speed and Truck World in Ft. Lauderdale. He did the firberglass work and all the wiring. I can't tell you how many compliments on how good that system sounds I get.

When I put the grill on, I'm able to put my trunk mat over the whole thing and it looks factory and I can put reasonably light things in my trunk like a suitcase or groceries.

All told, the enclosure cost about 600 for labor for my friends time at the shop and about 1600 for all the parts (firberglass, wood, wires, distribution block, breaker, neon, leds, fans, amps, sub, interior speakers, etc.) and the head unit was 1700 plus another 100 for the Sirius adapter.

I've had another friend get estimates to do a similar enclosure to her car and the price was 1500 for labor and 2500 for parts with no head unit or interior speakers, just the sub, amps, materials and wiring, although she wanted more expensive equiptment: 12w7/1000.1/450.4 instead of the 10w7/500.1/300.4 like I have. I really got the friend "hookup" price even though it was still expensive.

Hope that helps and thanks for the compliment!

Hey slammed, how do you like those coilovers? I am thinking about getting them as well, when I save up the cash that is. How much different is the ride quality?

You're a moron!

JL Audio 500-1 599.99 MSRP
JL Audio 300-4 549.99 MSRP
JL Audio 10w7 699.99 MSRP
JL Audio VR600-CXi 199.99 MSRP
JL Audio XR650-CSi 399.99 MSRP

That's $2449.95 MSRP + tax

I got all that for $1400.00 with tax from a local AUTHORIZED DEALER with full warranty!

$600 for the installer time to build the custom fiberglass enclosure, install all the speakers, wires, leds, fans, neon, crossovers, capacitor, etc...

$200 for the actual parts, like the fiberglass, leds, wood, carpet, Plexiglas, neon, 4 gauge monster wire, distribution block, under hood breaker, capacitor, etc...

I would like to see you get those parts for that price even without a warranty.

Quick check online, 1 year warranty through this store (NOT JL AUDIO) OnlineCarStereo.Com

JL Audio 500-1 439.99
JL Audio 300-4 399.99
JL Audio 10w7 499.99
JL Audio VR600-CXi 149.99
JL Audio XR650-CSi 255.99

Total $1,741.00
Free shipping and no tax unless CA.

So how exactly did I get a bad deal? I have over 400 dollars of speaker/power wire in this car, I've got a custom fiberglass speaker enclosure and you're just jealous.

Get over it. If you can do better, please do, I'm sorry I was so honest with my pricing, I should have just said "a lot" and left it at that.
