Default Lights on buzzer?

I've only had my tC for about 2 weeks, but I was reading the owners manual and it states that there is a "buzzer" that goes off if the headlights are on and the drivers door is open with the key out of the ignition. My tC does not do this, but the lights turn off if you turn the key from on to off and open the driver's door which is also stated in the owners manual. Do our tC's only have the auto off feature and no buzzer? Can anyone verify on their tC's if the buzzer does work?

Thanks!

this is probably one of the best features of the car in my opinion is the auto off headlights, i dunno how many times it has saved my battery in only 1 month, no there is no buzzer for me

the buzzer will only go off if you turn off the lights and then turn them back on again before or while the door is open and forget them. The tc is supposed to have an auto off feature that will turn off your headlights as soon as you turn off the engine, remove the key and open the door.

I thought that is what it is suppose to do, but it still doesn't. It looks like some people with tC's have this feature and some don't. Mine definately turns off automatically, but no buzzer.

Thanks for the replies! :D

No buzzer on mine, ever, even under the circumstances that it is supposed to sound.

I'm pretty sure mine doesnt even have the auto off feature. I haven't been able to get it to work. I think it worked once before I even realized that the tc had it, but now it wont do it. I think I'll have them look at it when I go into the dealer next.
