it hits pretty well. much better then other 12" subs.. but not too loud that it's annoying. its perfect. i can feel it in my chest with a nice thump.

it's just a clear piece of lexan with some velcro on it that i heated and bent into shape. the back of my ipod case has a belt clip which i clip to the lexan:
