Default Long drive Bad day

As I was comming back home on a 2 hour drive from Modesto, something flew off another car, hit my hood n my windshield, i have no idea wut it was but it left a mark and it seems to not come off when I wipe it with soap, does anyone know any solvient that can take off the mark on my car and windshield? it seems like u can take it off, but it is stuck and i didn't want to use anything that will damage the paint or the windshield. thanks in advance -Chris

also ive been wondering, what does tC stand for anyways? third car? the coupe? the Celica? i have no idea

It stands for Theodore Calvin. Didn't you ever watch Magnum P.I.?

I second the clay bar advice.

No, it doesn't.

They were going to name it "xC" to be consistent with xA and xB, but that name was too similar to the XC90.

If it stands for "touring coupe" what the hell does xA or xB stand for?

Yeah, so says Road & Track, but what the hell do they know? If "xA" and "xB" don't stand for anything in particular, why should "tC"?

And wouldn't it be "TC" instead of "tC" if it actually stood for anything?

looks like i'm actually posting on topic for once...

You got away without any dents from the thing hitting you? you got lucky it seems.

for the windshield, try something harsher than you'd use on the paint. Razor blade, something.

for the paint. i'd try like a polishing compound. but that stuff almost depends on the color of your car. it works wonders for white cars. I haven't used it on my AP tC, but on my black car, it seems to dull the paint. Wax helps bring the shine back, but not 100%.
