how do I find out about a recall??? would I get something in the mail?? or the scion website??

^^ do you side airbags? if not.. it doesn't apply to you.

check with dealership about recall, but scion does mail out notifications.

 

I got the red one but I don't think I was in for any special recall. Unless it was for the sunroof work or the shattering wind deflector thing.

 

I got one a super super long time ago.. I had gone to a dealership back home in Jers and they did some unauthorized work to my car and tried charging me for it.. obviously I said no to giving them money and I told them to give me a copy of the bill. I went home and (knowing how my mom is) I showed her the bill and she called Scion or sent them mail or something telling them what the dealership did and they sent me (or I guess my mom lol) the toy car in the mail as a "sorry." Pretty neato.. I never expected something like that from a car company haha =)

I think I left it in NJ with my mom when I moved here.. I didn't realize it was such a desired item.. and I kind of was cramped for space in the tc with all of my belongings inside.. I'll see if she can ship it to me and then I'll take pics if the one I got isn't up here yet
