I'm looking to get something for a friend of mine with a 2006/07 tC.

These are his current performance mods:
K&N CAI, GReddy evo2 exhaust, DC Sport Header, TWM Stage 2 Short Throw, ZPI crank pulley, ZPI Street/ Strip clutch, ZPI Lightweight Flywheel, Torque Damper
Hotschkis Front and Rear Sway Bars. TRD Springs. Front Strut Bar
Cquence dilled and slotted rotors w/ ceramic pads

I'm a GTI owner, so I know a good amount about mods and stuff, but not for tCs.

Any suggestions for worthwhile mods <$200?

Yeah, I'm leaning towards engine/suspension. He's into that moreso than aesthetics.
Thinking about an Ingalls Rear Strut Brace...

 

if he's fine with drilling holes into his frame, rear strut i heard is pretty good. but if he already has sways to stiffen it up, i'm not sure he'll notice much of a difference. how about like a engine damper or motor mounts?

 

N/A power wise, under $200 there is nothing left. As Aroddalobaster mentioned, rear strut bar, or C-pillar bar.

There is not much he doesn't have, and for that price, he pretty much got all the non-visual stuff. If he doesn't have tint, that would be nice.

 

HIDs....even if he's just into performance he'll love em....Who doesn't...and you could get them for less than 200.

He is already lowered.

 

He has springs and HIDs. He has a torque damper, but took it out because of vibrations and rattles.

 

how about a Engalls Stiff? Not sure how much it costs but I'm sure its under 200. Looks like it would fit with the rest of his mods too.

yup cable bushings for the shifter if he dont have one, or endlinks for the swaybar, camber if he needs one - all less than 200. But I would go for looks since he pretty much have mods for N/A. I would go for lipkit, tint or HIDs or leds swap for gauges and HVAC

^ Yeah, get him those. Even if isn't really into aesthetics, he would definitely like the fully lit TBL. But IMO, the visors are a kinda love/hate thing, so maybe something else semi-cheap?
