Default Looking for a good short shifter, any ideas?

After doing some reading it looks like the TRD quickshifter that the Scion factory offers isn't going to shorten the throw by much. I also hear the **** is a piece of junk.

Can anyone recommend a very nice short shifter kit for my XA? That will shorten the throw more than the TRD kit...

If it's a great kit, I'm willing to spend the money.

Thanks.

(BTW, not sure where this thread belongs, sorry)

Shouldnt double post the same question. I would say stay with the one in power hungry, or might even get more direct by posting it in the xA section.

Does the TWM Short Shifter make the shorter annoyingly short in the xB? I heard that to accomodate the fact that the TRD shifter was a bit shorter, it actually put the gears a little closer to you (odd gears on quickshifter sit roughly around the neutral position of w/o quickshifter) - I like the 60% shorter movement, but it says it reduces height considerably... Does it become annoyingly low? or does the larger shift **** make up for it?

Not according to your site it is.

The site says it's $129.00 PLUS $7.28 for the cheapest shipping. Total of $136.28. $16.83 more.

Anyone know if it makes the shifter annoyingly short? I know you can order a height adjustable **** from them, which I'm thinking of doing - I'm just trying to get a feel for the overall remaining height after installation...

I really hope that by those *snips* you did you didn't cut out the answer to the question I had...because that would be quite annoying...if you just cut out ads, then great, if you cut out the info I needed too - gah - bad bad mikochu!
