Default Looking for a tC gift for my girlfriend...

Hi Everyone. Comming from the Audiworld. My girlfriend has an '07 tC. Was wondering what a nice present would be... I was thinking of a REAL nice HID kit, hate when i can't see her in a flow of traffic driving behind me. ;-) Something like Xenon? Not sure what the conversion kits are.

I want to stay in the $60-90 range. Maybe a bit more if its really worth it.

Other than that she was mentioning how she likes INTERIOR NEONS in her friends tC. Maybe outside neons better?

Maybe any other nice tC gift i could get her??? She likes the visual stuff i guess, so nothing like a chip, air intake, or turbo. lol

Give me some ideas...

What are the best brands for all the mentioned stuff, and whats the right place to buy it?

For lights I would go with Oznium

www.oznium.com

I have there 6000k HID kit and there full 3rd brake light and love them!

Phil (the owner) is also a great guy and stands by his products and does whatever he can to ensure his customers are happy.

There is other great stuff out there but this is just my $.2

also for HID I heard mobileHID (I think I got the name right?) makes a great kit as well.

If you want to go the interior lighting route, Oznium can't be beat on price but they do not make harnesses, you'll have to do all your own wiring. If you aren't electrically inclined or want a quicker install, Randode is selling his interior lighting kits for $80, engine bay lighting for $50, and cup holder lighting for $30. I do not believe the cup holder lighting comes with his interior lighting kit. They should all include OEM style switches, Oznium should also have them if you go DIY.

Just get a set of HID's for her, they're only about $140 bucks now. I suggest getting something between 4300 and 6000K, anything higher than that and you're going to seriously start losing visibility. I have 6000K and my friends have said I'm easily spotted on the road.

i would suggest HID or Fog light too, Full Tail Light is not so good because only other tc drivers behind would know she got a mod. .

send a PM over to Operatic, and tell him you are interested in the 4300k kit, i think he still has them for 130 with overnight shipping, and a relay included, plus hes a good friend of mine and has a very good reputation here on scionlife. i have 3 sets from him, lows, highs, and fogs and i dont have any problems with them plus the visibility is amazing

Just a reminder - all MobileHID kits that ship out from now until the end of the year come with free strobes.

Price is $140 shipped. ;)

Ok, i decided that HID's will take a long time to install. And she probably wouldnt let me do it anyways... She dont like when i touch her car... Better her, herself!

Anyways, about the interior lighting, if i was to get one, i'd like to get one with cupholder lighing, handbrake, door handles, i mean more lighting, not just under the seat and dash paying like $100 shipped for that. If paying $100, i'd like at least more light..nah??

BTW, who's operatic and how do i PM him?

In case, my e-mail: almsdriver@gmail.com

if you go under your profile, there is a private message tab to the left (as if you were to PM yourself) once you open it, you can change the to: field to his username.

btw, since your an audi fan, how you like the tc?..good or bad..

HID's are easier to install than interior lights in my opinion.

alll you gotta do is take out and unplug the bulbs then put in the HID bulbs and connect the wires. maybe the only hard thing is mounting the ballast. i was done within 20 minutes

Interior lighting will take longer to install than HID's, the hardest part on HID's is mounting, and you don't need to drill holes to properly mount a ballast like you will with the interior lights.
