I lost my remote key . The dealership said it would cost $85 for a new key plus programming fees. I found sellers on eBay selling the same keys for about $15 but they would need recut and programmed to my car. How much would this cost? Any other suggestions on how to replace it?

 

well if you are SURE that it is the exact one and you trust the seller, you could get it and most dealers can cut the keys for you. You would have to pay for getting the key cut and programmed. (usually the key cutting is in the price of the new key from dealership)

 

I hope you still have your other master key because the dealership will need a registered master key for the authentication process to begin during programming.

 

Remote key lost.... car is rendered useless... proceed to put Tc in trash bin.....
