Not a stupid question...short ram intake, replaces stock air intake and allows better airflow

Reset the ecu. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in and start the car and let it idle until the rpm's get back to normal.

Definitely unplug battery and reset. It will probably idle so low that it dies on its own so you might have to give it a little gas to keep it up.

like everyone said disconnect the battery and let it sit, then connect it and let it idle for a little bit so the computer can adjust some to the new intake. Then drive it around for a bit, taking it easy and it should smooth out.

Nope, doesnt say any of that, but you realize that the only difference between "crappy knockoffs" and injen is the price.. They are all made with the same requlations and same meterial, only difference is a few bolts and possible the filter on it.

I agree with most of what you said except there are regulations, most people just dont know. The reason there are regulations bc like u said if the housing is too big or small it can cause issues with your car. And there are many other factors, but there are regulations for different cars bc if somethig was to happen to my engine as a result of the sri i could bring it up to the company from which i baught and could grt them im some trouble. This is not a risk companies want to take therfore resaulting in basic regulations.
