Default Lower back problems?

I have noticed ever since I got my TC about 8 weeks ago now, my back has been all F***ed up. I have adjusted the seats in various positions but still my back continues to ache. I am about to go to a chiropractor, cause I already did some massage therapy and it only helped for like 2 days. Anyone else havin this issue?

Mine seems to be OK. Are you using all of the seat adjustments? Hopefully not just the seat back.

Are you really tall or really short? I'm a bit on the taller side and find them OK.

It's not a natural seating position to sit that low with your legs extended. Just wait 'til you start getting older...

I think the problem is that the steering wheel does not telescope. In the xB I need to sit up straight for it to not hurt my back, and in the tC sometimes I hold the steering wheel at the 6 o'clock position to give my arms a rest.

I wish the steering wheel came out futrther by about 3". I always feel like my legs are too bent or my arms are too stretched. I dont really have back pain from the tC, I just have back pain all the time . I felt fine after my Vegas run though and that was about 4 hours straight in the car.

Your back problem didn't go away. Your back go use to it, and took the shape of it, and now your body got use to it as well. That's why you don't feel any pain.

For the other guy with the back problems for 8 weeks now, if this continues, i suggest getting aftermarket seats. Good luck with that.

This is so weird...I have had my TC for 5 weeks or so and this past week my lower back has been killing me. I have lifted nothing. My wife was trying to convince me that it could be Kidney stones...then I saw this thread.
This is very strange that others have had this issue.

When I first got my tC (as in the day after I bought it) I had really bad bag of the thighs, and butt pain. Bad to the point that no position, sitting, laying, standing, was comfortable. I ended up going to my family doctor and he gave me a muscle relaxant called skalaxin or something like that. took those for a few days, they didn't help much so I got off them. A day after I did, I was fine. Haven't had a problem since.

well, the tc was developed in a "whopping" 9 months... you can imagine how much time has been put into driver/passenger erogonomics. like, it's just a matter of time until someone complains bout something else, like some rattle in the hatch or something... oh wait, that's been done. just my 2 cents.

The seats in the tC are so heavenly, since I've been driving it I havn't had an ache in my lower back but now its all transfered to my upper back :*( Lol...Oh well as they an eye for an eye.

the seats are the most comfortable ones I've ever sat in. my mom's g35's seats are almost as good at hugging you but I'm not too comfy on leather. definitely no back problems here.. but I do wish the steering column had a telescoping feature
