Default Lowered the tc... ABS, Brake and Low tire light ON!!!!!

Hi I'm new here,

Anyways, has ne1 hade this problem?

Big o Tires lowered my car today with Eibach Prokit springs and Hotchkis sway bars.

After the install they said that the ABS and Brake lights are on, and that the LOW tire light is flashing. They tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the low tire button but to no avail!

Now they said they'll look at it tommarrow. If no sucess then they'll send it down to the dealer to have them look at it! I wish my car wasn't the guinnea pig.

On top of that they don't have the specs for the alignment, so they couldn't do it.

I then told them I had a copy of specs that they could use, that i got from the dealer when they had to do my alignment earlier for something else.

By the way it does look damn great though. It cleaned up the wheel gap PERFECTLY! Not too low or too suttle of a drop. Will have before and after pics w/ measurements.

You should've changed your struts too. I hear the stock struts don't handle lowering that well and could fail.

Well I took my car back to Big o Tires today (3/18/05) so they could do the alignment, then they'll call the dealer to see if they could look for some codes that might pop up.

For replies to the other comments that are always posted, and off topic..

-All springs could sag over time

-Eibach had the perfect drop I was looking for.. (Well I had to buy them and gamble to know for sure )

-Lifetime warranty

*I called them up and talked to a rep. and asked them EVERYTHING I wanted to know answers about:
-Pro Kits working with OEM Shocks/Stuts. A: Yes, but Sportline springs... No
-Sagging
-Warranty
-Shot peening. A: Yes
-Do they actually make the TRD Springs. A: Yes
-Do they actually test them on cars to see the results. A: Yes they test them on multiple tc's (depends on how many they can get there hands on) with various setups and spring rates/drops.
- AND WHY WOULD I PICK THERE SPRINGS VS. A COMPETITORS.

And he gave me answers that seemed genuine and knowlegeable.

-And also I wanted to stand out a little from the crowd

There Phone #: 951-256-8300

*And no, I don't want to hear all the crap about me making bogus ads, and selling Eibach Springs in forums. I did my research and this is facts about what I went through :D *

NEVER go to Big O Tires! Ive had the worst experiences from them, and so has a buddy of mine. They totally damaged one of his rims. They couldnt even mount my tires correctly (couldnt figure out the smaller tire goes on the front and the wider on the rear with staggered wheels! Then the tires wouldnt even hold air! ), and they have the worst customer service in my opinion - they have flat out lied to me on different occasions! Ive also seen them try to PRY on low profile tires with a METAL pry bar on nice wheels - leaving nice deep scratches. I will never go back to them or reccomend them to anyone.

I took it down for diagnostics (3-22-05) and the dealer said it seemed to be a bad rear left skid sensor. We'll see once they replace it. part was $40 Diag was $150 and labor could be $100 more. It will be covered by Big O Tires.

I'm sure they'll never do a tc again. At least I'm proud to say that they are being very professionable at dealing with everything :D

Thats what im thinking... let the suspension dangle and it stretched the wire... look at the ABS wires if you see clean clean wire on either plug in they stretched it probally no good.
