Lowered on TRDs, Painted calipers
So for christmas I got my tc lowered and since the springs were red I decided to do a little project to dress it up a bit more :D turned out well I think.. what do you think?
Lowered pics (before painted calipers):

i kinda think blue calipers would look better (but since the springs are red...) btw, in order to lower the tc, are the springs the only thing you need to change? does any other modification need to be done? was asking because im considering doing it but im afraid it will effect it somehow in the nearfuture. also what do the shocks do?
btw i like the vvt-i sticker
i have a black cherry like ur sister's with it and i love it!

Naw blue calipers on a blue car would be cheesy, and yes springs are the only things you would need, no other modifications needed. It is recommended (by some atleast) to also upgrade your struts when you get new springs, but thats not really necessary. I have TRDs with stock struts and im fine, and I know a bunch of other people with aftermarket springs and stock struts and they are fine as well.

Springs are the only things you change if that's what you buy. You do have to cut these little things in half...I think they're called bump stops, correct me if I'm wrong...but other than that, it's just the springs. That was what I had to do when I installed my Tein S-techs anyway...you may not need to do that for TRD since it isn't as low. So make sure you have a spring compressor.
I can't say what exactly shocks DO, if you mean coilovers, I know some are adjustable (maybe all of them???). But I know I've heard that if you don't go ahead and get new shocks, or get coilovers, that your stock struts will wear out faster, because they aren't made for the low ride height.
Ive had the springs on since the week of christmas so I think they've pertty much settled as much as they're going to... which is okay I guess cause roads and parking lots in my area are terrible on lowered cars, I already scraped my front lip :/ I took the VVT-i sticker off this morning and it looks a lil better I guess but Im keeping the grille and handle covers cause I got it for christmas and all of my friends thinks it looks pretty sick.
