Default Making me cry... (56K Beware)

This is what happened last weekend. I just got my windows tinted (5% - looks awesome) and was going to wash my car when a lady, going the opposite direction, failed to see me and turned left. I ended up t-boning her. She got the ticket and her insurance is now paying for it. The parts should be in this upcoming week. Luckily they already have parts produced. I might end up using the insurance money for the hood and simply getting a CF hood. We will see. I'll post pics once it is fixed. That way you can see the awesome tinting job as well. If you want a funny side note, the passenger side fender is pushed back too far to open the passenger door. Because of this, my gilfriend has to climb over from the driver's side. She doesn't mind too much though, because it is a tC that she is climbing over. Now if it was a Honda it would be a different story...

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope everyone is ok. Did your airbag discharge? I am always afraid that the body shop will not repair the car to "like new" condition.

Luckily the airbag didn't discharge. I was really worried about that as I slammed on my breaks, right before I hit the girl. Luckily my dad owns a body shop. He has done that his entire life. His dad worked on cars his entire life. My dad wanted me to take it to his shop, that way it will be repaired to "like new" condition. He is the best in this area, hands down. Thanks for your guys' concern.

the only stick that my gf ever sits on in the car is usually in the back seat, under "social seating" conditions...

[quote="emoinwinter"]Luckily the airbag didn't discharge. [quote]

Why didn't the airbag deploy? How fast were you going at impact? I'd be more concerned that the airbag didnt' deploy then if it did.

I wrecked my sisters older Mitsu Galant into the back of a Prelude, and the bumper of the Galant slid under the bumper of the Prelude, so the airbag did not discharge caus the sensor is in the bumper. I was probably going 35, and it crunched the hood into the dash and my mom's head cracked the windshield (passenger not wearing belt).

Ignorance like this rules. I've owned Hondas that would eat every tC on the road in every aspect of the word. There was no reason to post that comment.

The question that I have for you my friend is have you owned a Honda and a tC? I had the king of all ricer cars, a 2000 Civic SI. Trust me, the tC is a thousand times better. Also, once I go forced induction with the tC, it would probably eat your alleged "hondas" alive.

Also, one more thing for you to ponder about. The car that I owned before the tC was a 1999 Mustang GT. While you were ____ing your pants breaking under 16 seconds I was running well into the low 13s. F--- off...
