We're all okay, unfortunately...

driving down Lowell rd light turns green, traffic moves, I go....TRAFFIC STOPS! I stop and the car slides smashing into the person ahead of me. Really lame because I did give myself a good draw distance between us. I wasn't even going that fast about 10mph. It's not even fair because her car was barely dinged in comparison.
ugh this is going to cost me...my Christmas is ruined. I need some positive feedback I'm feeling pretty low. Anyone know a good body shop?
-headlight
-bumper
-hood
-grill....
wont be surprised if this lands me a 5K repair bill.

I was behind the car infront of me when traffic came to a stop I tried to stop but my car slid causing me to ram her from behind. I was going about 10mph, the way my car hit her rear bumper is what cause all this damage her rear bumper is gigantic and my car is lowered...
file it under insurance and plead to them that it was due to weather conditions...if you can get her to agree that the conditions were bad then they may not surcharge you...its worth a try

Don't think there will be a way to avoid the surcharge insurance it's just one of those things

Hey this time last year I didnt even have my TC. I crashed her and should have been dead. Look at my picture in my profile, it was crazy. Your car doesn't look too bad. Think about it like this, your gonna get a carbon fiber hood! The radiator support can be cut out and a new one welded in place. Maybe get some 2008 style headlights from www.TRDsparks.com And then get a new bumper and paint it! You will be ok buddy, take it all one step at a time and think about it as a learning experience. Like I said if it makes you feel better go look at my pic and see my car. And FYI this is my THIRD TC.
Surcharge? Your adjuster has nothing to do with your rates. Underwriting determines if the rates will go up or down without looking into the specifics.
I don't know that I would have opened the hood - I suppose you are able to close it or we'd probably hear about that too.
But!!! Look on the bright side. At least you have POWER! Right?
I was born in Manchester and I have relatives whose lights are still off.
Don't let it ruin your Christmas. These things always seem a lot worse on the first day. It'll all work out.

OP, I cant see the pics (I'm at work), but if you have to replace all those things then just pay your deductible and have your insurance take care of the rest. That's what you have insurance for.
