It'll be a ton of money. Insurance, long distance, and weight are not gonna fare well for ya man.

you are looking around USD2,500 - 3,000 to ship it as that's what it cost me to ship a second vehicle from USA to UK. If you want a more reliable quote, you might want to get in touch with a freight/shipping company in PR. They should be able to provide you with more information.

when they inspect it, you can request to inventory everything on your car. If possible, call ahead and see if you can get them to provide a camera for visual proof of the car's contents and condition prior to it being shipped. Ultimately, most shipping/freight places will tell you that they are not responsible for missing items that are left in the vehicle, but being as these items are bolted to the engine and whatnot, I'm not sure. Just be sure that when you do have it shipped that everything is itemized and placed on the inventory sheets. Ask questions if you are concerned. It might sound stupid, but it's better to know than to get screwed over in the long run.

It doesn;t sound stupid at all. That's the kind of advice I'm looking for.

hehe =) I meant ask question to the shippers/freighter's while you're there. It's better to ask thant to find out afterwards when half your car is missing =P

If i were you ship it to the port of miami and drive up to orlando bro. The drive on the turnpike is awesome. Miami right now is way too expensive (neighbor just sold medium 2bed 1 bath with garage for 750k), Unless you want to go to little havana but its still really expensive... Their are allot of puerto ricans in orlando and its a kick ___ city. Not as heavily populated as miami.... The scion will do just fine here :-)

Yikes that i dont. Ive only vacationed their a few times. I will tell you that the city area is MUCH cleaner and less populated the it is here in miami. And Puerto Ricans in my opinions are allot friendlier than allot of my fellow cubans, and definitely much nicer than allot of the south americans... I know its kind of stereo typical but i work and go to school with them and they just dont seem too friendly.

You cant go wrong near downtown orlando or anywhere around the border of disneyworld...

boricua baby haha....of course i am a rare breed. mix asian/boricua and a lil black.

theres only two places where i would go to right now in the US. Miami or New York......both great places for many puerto ricans.....well carrabean latins such as cubanos and dominacanas. too bad texas has so few.

yea i bet it is expensive living in florida, i can only imagine.....texas is cheap. and btw, do you have family in orlando?
