good choice going to the manual. much more fun. the manual will be cheaper too. some of those things you did might increase the value depending on who you sell too. Some younger kid my be more interested in the stereo setup than others.

Go get a quote and then decide from there. It wont cost anything for a quote on trade in. just dont let them talk you into it until you are ready.

the tc keeps its value incredibly well. i traded mine in with 13,8xx miles for $15.5k. i had scapes on the passenger side door and handle, and curb rash under the front bumper. if you don't mind the hassle, you may be a bit more selling it yourself.

why are you trading it in? Are you trading it in for another tC manual? Or a totally different car?

I went to the toyota dealer and asked about this. They apraised it and said if i brought my car back to stock they would give me 15,000-16,000. Its an '06 with about 12,000 mi. I have too much time and money put into my car already its not worth the trouble imo. I was going to do it but when i thought about how much stuff i would have to take off and put back on/redo i decided not too.

This seems to be quite a dilemma. People buy an auto and then want a stick. I regret it everyday.

hate to be a dick, but you should have considered all your options before you bought your auto tC.

I have an auto tC because there's no way in hell I'll drive in the traffic I drive in with a stick.

i kinda of regret getting a stick, when i'm in traffic and when i'm stopped on hills and the dude behind me is on me. and when i drive a passenger around with me and they are sensitive to the swaying motion of shifting
also, i wonder how long the tC tranny will hold up, i'm really hoping for no major synchro problems down the road.

however, i love being able to control my car and it really makes driving fun most of the time

Big thumbs up on switching to manual.. very good choice.

The tC is very boring automatic.

if your worried about the resale value, take the system out (and put it in the new tC), and get new emblems for like 20 bucks and there all set.

good luck with everything, (i love my manual tC)
