Default mods on new tC?

I mean...moding is cool and all, but on a new vehicle? I don't think the factory warranty covers mods that are the dealership is not selling. That's y i only got the parts that they offer on my tC.

Think it's worth it to get other mods other than the one they provide?

Mods > Warranty?

or

Warranty > Mods?

my take on it is, if your gonna mod your car then you should be able to maintain the car yourself and have a decent knowledge of the car. so in fact if you do void the warrenty then you can maintain and repair the car if need be. thats my take. if you cant change your oil you shouldnt put an intake on your car.

If you put the TRD components on yourself, do they still void the warranty? I know Scion won't cover them under their warranty, but they shouldn't void any Scion warranty or do they?
