not trying to thread jack, but where is a good place to get a good TBL for a decent price (besides ebay).

 

x2 i would love one. btw, my cheap mods were my shorty antenna, tinted side markers, and my hid's

Get some LEDs from superbrightleds.com and make your license plate lights white and then get some HIDs later... perfect combo at night

 

basically everything ive done with my tC so far..

 

i want to convert all the lights into high power leds but not sure if i can heatsink it enough since they can heat up fast and burn out since air flow is restricked in the frame.

but i'll give it a shot.

 

LED's burn cooler then regular halogens. The reason LED's tend to burn out on cars when their put in after market is because the 12V power going to an generally unprotected LED.

 

im a LED fanatic so i was reading about that stuff for months.
i still have a bunch of these

have them in Green blue red and cool white.

also i have regulators. and the 12v power is enough for me to run 2 LEDs at 3 watts each. its a constant current regulator and very small. (upto 94% effcient)
all i need to do is retro fit some CPU heatsink on to it. have it in passive mode and see what the stress test is like.
also have a backup plan. 40mm fans
