Hi all, I just moved to New Windsor, NY. I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a good mechanic that can do engine mod's (mild) and or a good body guy that can do a lip kit. etc. I don't want just a mechanic, because many aren't into the sport- compact scene, also I want a good body guy so that I can get a lip kit installed that looks really good.

If anyone has someone they could reccommend, let me know..

Eh most shops can do it. As long as they have the manual they can figure their way out.

 

thats really not true. When I've done mod's on other cars i've had i've had some bad experiences. They don't "get it" like when dealing witha body kit, or lip kit. Making surfe parts are sanded correectly and mounted properly. Also with engine work, I would like someone thats done mods before. Knows the in's and out's. If there's a slight problem can fix it because he's seen it before.

There really is a difference.. so if anyone knows someone.. please let me know.

 

whats going on man, im right by you. goshen NY, im looking for a good guy also. i haven't found one cause everything ive done so far i did i/h/e and small stuff, as far as body mods go i had repairs done at lothars body shop on 211 they did a great job, they work on my dads cars to. im buying a lip kit soon and i plan on going to them for that.
