Haaa mpg thread again?? :D

I agree with engifineer , half mark doesn't mean you still have half tank of gas. Keep your speed around the speed limit will help the mpg for sure.

If I drive 70+ my mpg is around 26-27
if I drive around 60-65 my mpg is around 28-30

 

I usually get about 220 miles at half way

You all should consider yourselves lucky.
I get about 110 on half mark, and am LUCKY to make it to 250 on a full tank..

I avg about 18-19mpg.. but with good reason.. hehe.. just read the sig

 

My recent best was 250 for 1/2 tank. It's an anomaly though. Typically I get 28-29mpg with mostly highway driving at 70-80mph.

 

im at half right now..and i have 150 miles on the odo...then again my car sucks at fuel economy

 

I just had my worst tank in 2000 miles. At 1/2, I only pulled 180 miles.
Last week sucked for traffic and it makes a big difference.

I get about 150-200 at the half point depending on the week. I live in Houston and you never know what to expect from the traffic. If i drive mainly freeway i can get 300-320 a tank, but if i stick to the small streets, im lucky to pull 260.

 

900 mile one way trip. 29 m.p.g. at 78 m.p.h.

 

I just finished my first tank of gas *free gas* and by half tank i had around 200, and by the time my gas light came on, i had 349 miles, but i filled up 12.0xx gals. So thats about 29 mpg. The thing is i did like 90% hw driving, going back from school and home.
