Default Mud Guard Installation

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knew about installing the mud guards. My dealer doesnt have them listed as an option but I would like to have them. Are there pre drilled holes for them to mount on or do you need to use some self tapping screws and create some holes. If anyone on here has the mud guards or has installed them please let me know, thanks

the screw holes are already on the car, all you need is a screw driver to install it. I am going to get the mud guard too, but not from dealer.

Sorry to dissapoint you all, but only the front ones come with the holes, for the rear you have to drill two holes on each side. How do I know this, I installed mine two days ago. However I didn't use a drill I just marked them and used the screw to make the hole, pritty easy.

I purchaced a set from www.mcgeorgeparts.com and asked them how to install them. They quickly responded by emailing me the instructions (great service). Also if you search this forum, you can also get a copy of the tC Service manual in PDF

If it happens again you can delete the duplicates. And if you're not able to delete them you can always edit the dupes to say "oops" or something.

Can you post some pictures with the mud guards attached? Would like to see how they look.

Thanks.

humm..... just wondering, i have two holes on each side of rear end, i think they are screw holes.... that's why i jump in to assumption that the mud guard can just screw in.

Yeah, that's what I though too, at first until I started reading the directions. They say you have to drill holes, but like I wrote on my earlier post I just used the screws to make the holes.

Your welcome. Oh! the only hole you wont need to drill for is the one right at the bottom of the mudguard, it's already there holding the piece of plastic shield.
