i am planning to put a body kit on my tC when they become available. also, i would like to protect my tC with mudguards. will the mudguards interfer with body kit, or is it okay to have both on my machine?

thanx,

I just put the mudguards on my car. Since there are previously drilled holes for the mudguards, I'd doubt if you could mount them with a body kit installed.

I had heard people had to drill holes for the mud guards? I saw a few attachment points when I was looking, but was unsure?

the mudguard is a bit molded i think... no car manufacturer makes their OEM mudguards compatible with their OEM bodykits... always wondered why...

check out the above link... JasonH always has great pic by pic tutorials ;)

There are pre-drilled holes there all ready in the front and back. However, in the back you have to drill in deeper to mount the mudguards. I found with the front that I didn't have to drill at all. The mudguards mounted pretty easily in the front. The whole installation took like half an hour.

There are not supposed to be pre-drilled holes in the back (unless you count the one hole under the bumper.) If you had pre-drilled holes then somebody drilled them before you got your car, maybe at the port or your dealer.
