Default Music Volume in the TC

Just wondering, i just put the injen exhuast on and it seems like at highway speed i have to put the volume at around 25-33 to listen to the lyrics comfortable.

And was wondering how high you guys set your volumes.

I have mine of the xB setting, bass 1, treble 5, and 0 fade, and 0 left/right.

Just something i was wondering about.

yeah same for me.. xB hear.. and i've had it up to about 40.. depends on the source.. some levels can be different.. when i burn a cd i make sure to get the levels as close to 0db (max for cd's) as possible..

i think the max is 60 for the radio, so you're fine..

WOW! up to 40. I put mine up to 25 and that's already to high for my ears, and that's on the freeway with my TRD Exhaust.

check the manual. the SRT is either off (very quiet) or 2 other settings. mine is on "Feel". bass kicks more in that mode.

oh, and i must be deaf because i blast my music at max volume (62) with the windows down all the time. when people are in the car its usually around 30-40.

hey scooby.. yeah it depends on the level of the cd's i am playing.. the older ones are recorded at a lower level, so i gotta crank it up.. newer cd's i play at like 28-30..

SRT = sound retouch.. it's a "loudness" feature for mp3, because they are so flat without some sort of equalization..

I also use the xA mode on my facory radio. i set the SSP to feel. Bass is at 2 and treble is at 5. Sounds alot better than any of the other settings.

^^yeah, my setting is xA too, sound better imo! Bass is 2, treble is 1, SRT's on (make a nice difference) Vol on highway is usually 22-24. I have my rear speakers changed to polk audio db650 and it kick ___! Now I have four tweeters and the clarity is a great improvements. Bass is enough to rattle my door in some song I played. No need to add subwoofer.

I have my Eclipse 8443 at 50/80 usually, sometimes up around 70 when I'm upset.

Wow i thought that such a simple question yet so many different answers.
And why do you guys put hte treble so low? Can you guys make out the lyrics?
Also how can you guys put it up so high witht the bass beyond 1, it seems like mine starts to make that muffled farting sound.

lol
