Default My 06 BCP Build/Progress Thread

What's going on everybody? I've been a member on here since July but haven't really posted much. I bought the tC in July after totaling my srt4, and I had plans of leaving it stock while I finished school...but as well all know that never happens.

The first thing I did was buy a set of tinted taillights off of here

Then I got tired of looking like a 4x4 and invested in some springs

I also modded the headlights, and got some 8k HIDs

After that I found one of these BNIB on eBay

Somewhere along the way I picked up an RS1 lip kit, but I'm currently not rocking it anymore due to the weather here in Chicago

And just a little preview of what's on the way...

Thanks! I should have everything installed and tuned by May. I've still trying to track down a turbonetics downpipe, but I might end up just having one fabricated.

i did alot of research on the downpipes, they are very hard to get ahold of one for a custom application because so many makers of turbo kits and accessories for our cars no longer exist. I would say have one made. What kind of turbo are you going to be using? i might know where you can get one

I'm not 100% set yet, but I'm leaning towards a Turbonetics T3/T4E 50 Trim Stage 3 .63 A/R.

It's an external wastegate setup so I'll be using a turbonetics evolution, and the turbo is either a 4 bolt or 5 bolt turbine outlet. It comes both ways.

That's a pretty good find! I wonder if that photo is accurate. From everything I've seen, a downpipe for the turbonetics manifold needs to have the turbine outlet off to the right.

*Thanks sebbyxtc for the picture

I'll send the seller an email and see what they say. Thanks!

The throws feel nice and precise. I've also got a little surprise that's going to be here Monday. I'll be sure to post some pictures

Looks like your progress is coming along nicely man. Check the classifieds if you're interested in a good price on engine management. I've got something on there lol

not too sure, i need to find a reliable place to tune, if not ill have to stay conservative under 6psi which no tune is needed for.

Finally got my Greddy Ti-C installed last night. This is by far one of the sexiest exhausts I've ever heard on a TC. I was little skeptical since I couldn't find a lot of good sound clips of it, but I absolutely love it. Sorry for the grainy pics; they were taken at like 2am when my friends and I finished the install.
