After a week 32 % quartz tints. The tinting place wanted to put my pic on their website so ihave to include the name autoshades on the pic the guy said they haven't done a tC yet . I was like what? They been around since 2004 or 2005 but anyway...





I also updated the tails since all you guys hate it

So the moral of the story if you are doin any DIY... Go to SL and look for tips. I was like in a hurry to get home after work so I can get started. And waadoyanow. The 08 tails wont come off The install instruction that came with the TYC's are useless. So now what I have to remove the half part of the bumper. I did it one side at a time so I wont have to remove the whole bumper itself just to free the thing argghhh!!!. long story short I finally got them on after wasting 2 f-n hours. But it was fun at least I saved a trip to the dealership and best off I did it myself.







I also got mudguards coming, and ordered that new RAZO ****.
And I'm watching a plug and play HID kit on ebay I won't put the link sorry. The starting bid is 0.01 cent. Hoping to get it.

Nobody told me having a tC is expensive.

yeah. i ended up having to order from the factory since the dealrship install prices just killed me. so i'm waiting for my car to come. and simple upgrades as time goes by.

How is it that people don't like the 08 stock tails but they like the TYC's....They are both fugly.

I for one, like the 05 stock tails better than anything out there! My car had tyc on it when I bought it. I didnt like them, tried to tint them, still didnt like them, so i sold them. But they are better than the stock 08 tails, I'll give them that. But they look better without the amber turn, either red or clear makes them look 1000 times better

 

wonderin if they are selling the rs-3 tails though the amber turn light is red now.

 

no they arent. but u can get overlays for it.

 

I like how that tail looks on your profile though they look sick.... Yeah overlays can be an option....

What % tint is that?

 

they are 32% quartz tint Diamond brand. They look darker coz the sun wasn't out when i took the shot. So they look darker... WA allows up to 35% but I just went with 32% to be safe.
