I have looked all over for a picture of a Nautical Blue....Thanks for sharing!!!

Now I am curious...could the 05' radio be replaced with the 06's??

I wonder if I could get that same exact steering wheel as well...hmmm...we'll see!! It would kick butt with volume control on the steering wheel!!

For those who want *****, you can take the 06 HU and put it in your 05 no problem. Just don't expect steering wheel controls and it will be VERY difficult to connect the iPod to the iPod radio, from what I understand.

Okay I just read this: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=67639
and it looks like the steering wheel controls will not be worth the hassle...oh well

i'll try to take some pictures when my dealership gets the NB instock. my salesman told me today that he is getting the NB as a new demo car. and i'll take pictures of the 2 cars side by side to see the color difference.

but to tell you the truth. i looked at them from those magnet things the dealership has with the colors on them. the NB is a little bit darker then the IIP. But i guess we'll just have to wait and see

Some pics here showing the two (IIP and NB) side by side:

Still hard to tell other than a slight difference because of shadows, but I guess the NB is slightly darker than the IIP.

glad i didnt get an 06' ... reason being because i dont have an ipod, i changed my unit to a dvd one, and the steering wheel buttons would'nt be funtional for the unit.

I just hope they fixed all of the TSB problems. Wait in about a 6-12 months. Your gonna hear rattling, shaking, bumping. Ahhhhhhhhh gotta love scions. Oh and just wait til the mod bug hits you. Your radio will probably be out of there. I say you def. need to lower it for sure to make those ground effects stand out !

overall, congrats.

Gratz!

I placed my order for the same tC, 2006 NBM, w/ Scion Security and SAB options. Can't wait! They have to custome order it, hopefully I'll have it by next week or before July 4th.

I keep asking the fleet manager when the supercharger kit will come in. He told me maybe in October. I'm gonna bug him every week on this. LOL.

BTW, is the $140 floor mats worth it? And where can I get some sweet aluminum gas/break paddles?

I saw 2006 NB tc two days ago. It has the exactly same color with the most frequent dark blue cars: camry, accord. Since I didn't like the color, I didn't buy buy NB(which was for stock). I placed an order for FM or CSM(whatever comes first) with iPod control option. Unfortunately, the dealer told me he doesn't know when he can get one for me; it would take definitely more than 3 weeks. It's one of the saddest things for living in a small town.

So sad............ its happening in big towns (mid-sized towns) also, get the car next week/probably two or wait at least three weeks for the car you've set-up online like fifty ga gillion times? Stick it out! I'm here with ya, don't get the color u don't want!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two decks have nothing to do with each other? TV and an Ipod............? Which would you rather do, watch tv or listen to hours of music with out changing cd's. Figure that one out your self or get a kewood deck with the ipod optional cig adaptor! Problem solved..... do a search!

hey, people with the NB... any regrets? my only concern is there are so many dark blue cars on the road... and i really like the FM but hten again everyone has an FM tC... and i'd have to wait a few more weeks to get it and i dont know if i can wait that long... i want to see a picture of all the color tcs in a row... that would be fantastic.

My only regret is that bugs apparently are awestruck by the color and forget to get out of my way (and show up quite well in the paint).
I can wash it, drive to work (30 miles of rural highway), and the front bumper is covered by the time I get there. One of the gray variations (FM, SSM, etc) might now show the tiny splatters so prominently, but oh well....
