Default My car does not want me to drive it...

My car now has a slew of problems that I need help with.
A. The brake light comes on all the time now, slow revs, fast revs, no revs. I had my breaks checked out and said they were fine (a little over 18,000 miles BTW). I've done the search, and tried every possible solution to no avail.
B. Whenever I start my car, the Maintenance Req'd light flashes for about 20 seconds. The only thing I could think of was oil, but I had full synthetic done 2000 miles ago. Ignition? Alternator? Belts? Car has the flu? Who knows.
C. The SRS airbag cover on the C pillars just came off. Took to dealership and the guy sad he'd never seen that before.
D. The brakes squeal all the friggin time. Even if I'm not braking, I can hear them and it sounds like something is constantly brushing against the rotor. All of them, and it's driving me insane!
E. To add to all of that mayhem, a rock hit my windshield and cracked it.
There are NO differences in the way the car starts. accelerates, keeps RPM, brakes and what not. It feels great, just all of this BS.
If anyone wants to tackle A,B,or D I'd appreciate that!
This car scares me... It's like from the Stephen King novel, Christine; except not a Red and White 1958 Plymouth Fury.
Thanks in advance!

i only know the solution to B. B is set to come on every 5000 miles no matter what, or whatever you set it to when you reset it, or when the dealer reset it. there's a walkthrough of how to reset it somewhere on here
and did you check your brake fluid? i know you said you tried everything, but just wanted to make sure.

okay i'ma put my 2 cents in on things but not everything might be right. first the main. light comes on when you need an oil change and you can just reset that cuz i think it goes off of every 4 thousand miles. when is the last time you changed your brakes? might need new pads or lathe the rotors. for the other things i have no clue. hope this helps

I had a car that made braking noises even when I wasn't off the brake like your having, turned out it was a bad caliper and wasn't fully opening.

A: Your pads are worn out
B: They never reset correctly your maintenance light or they set it to come on at 2k
C: Mine did they same thing make them fix it
D: Your pads are worn out
E: Get a new windshield
F: Check out www.nonstoptuning.com and get a light weight crank pulley.

I had the brake light come on and off, certain stops they would let out soft squeak, and my brake fluid was pretty low...

All of these problems were caused by warped front rotors.
I replaced the rotors & pads: the car brakes like a champ!

By the way, I drove my old xA down a highway. And there was a flat-bed semi about two cars in front of me. He was carrying bricks. I kept flying and this huge four inch piece of brick flew onto my windshield. I saw it hit the driver's side and made loud noise. No crack! No chip! I guess Toyota went with a different vendor for windshields for the tCs.

Get some new brake pads, and take it to an auto glass shop. You should be able to get a new windshield for about $250. Do it soon, cause it will get worse.

All these guys have the right answers especially kikcaffine...just do what that list says and everything should work ok, the worst part is that your gonna have to take it to the dealership for most of the problems and pay their obnoxious labor fee's. The c pillar on my car popped off out of no where...i left to the store parked got out and when i came back it was hangin in the back seat, i thought i got hit or something but it just popped out.

Oh I had my C Pillar loose. You know what I do? I hop back there and hit it back into place by my fist.

Works everytime.

Yeah, I don't know about your car - sounds like either a lemon, or abuse, or lack of understanding.
The maintenance light, BTW, can be set at 5,4,3,2,1k miles, depending on when you let go of the button during a reset.
If your brake light comes on and the fluid is OK, it's either the pads or a problem with the circuit.
Go to the dealer or a good mechanic.

I'd take it to a different dealer. It's still under warranty so why pay if you don't have to.
