Default My first car photoshop

I know this isn't good by any means, but I am posting this to get some constructive criticism from anybody who is a PS guy or gal (some compliments wouldnt hurt but not necessary). I know some of the perspective is off (license plate) and I have to work on my calibers and rotors. The pic I started from is on the bottom. Is there a direct forum to post photoshop work or is this the correct place?

Not bad at all (this coming from a person that has never used photoshop), loving the color coordination with a CF hood and black rims.

call me ****, but the wheels look a little more hyperblack/dark gunmetal. but other than the front license plate looking a little picasso-ish, the car looks sweet. you did a pretty good job.

Thanks again, I need advice. If you don't care to share you secrets I totally understand. What do you use as a good carbon fiber pattern in photoshop? Do you just apply it was a layer style pattern overlay or something else? Or do you just clone from something else that is carbon fiber?

you browse goolge or whatever search engine you use, and you find a c/f pattern. it could be a pic of a car with a c/f hood or a close up shot of carbon fiber.

It's nice, but some of the changes are very heavy, and it makes it look like an Illustrator graphic - that is, it looks more like a drawing that's been colored instead of a real car.
Now don't take that the wrong way - you did a good job, and your colors, etc. are well-chosen.
I'm going to post some work up possibly this weekend, and I hope to get some feedback as well.
One of the things PS noobies do is to use every bloody filter/option and it looks like crap.
You didn't do that, and that's MY pet peeve.

i like it a lot. very nice.

I think you should continue the core shadow along the side of the car through the front fender. did you stop at the door purposely?

I also think you should minimize the wheel detail to look similar to the style of the rest of the car. That would make it looks super clean.

anyhow, definately doesnt look like a first time chop. Looks like you know what you're doing. Are you in the art field or studying it?

because thats the art style that was taught in my rendering class, but we used markers to color.
which is also how concept cars are drawn.
