My First Street 'Race'
I had to post this!
I was driving down a long stretch of road by my house (around 2.5 mile straight away). I was late to pick up my friend to give him a ride to work, so I was driving faster than normal.
Towards the end of the road this hatchback Civic comes out of nowhere almost like he was waiting for a car to harass. He had to be doing 100mph to catch up to me. He cuts me off with his gross high pitched exhaust, but then a garbage truck pulls out in front of us and I'm driving the speed limit at this point.
We even out, side to side. So we pass the truck and some rail road tracks. I punch it and while doing so switch to 2nd gear (in my automatic). He tries his hardest and I pass him up when the road turns into one lane. We get to the light and both turn left onto a main street. He drives past me and looks at me.
The look on his face was sheer despair. Almost like he never won a race.
I beat him with my mainly stock auto tC. All I have performance wise is a CAI.
Excuse my cheesy excitement. I just had to tell someone who'd appreciate the story.
