My hood prop/damper came off
I was checkin oil level cos I have a S/C and when I was done I disengaged the hood prop and the thing came off....
wtf?
Anyway I saw the plastic ring broke in half; how do I stick the stick back in?
Will the dealership replace the part under warranty? I'm at 34k miles

this would actually work out better....since the prop end rubber thing dents my diversion panel
I have the Redline Hood Damper. I think it's worth the money. You do have to drill some holes into your hood and your shock tower though, which may be a deal breaker.
Another one you might want to consider is the NRG - they use two dampers instead of one!

tc4italy, dont you have CF hood? if so the redline hood is too strong, if you have an oem hood then it will work. i just took a redline off my car and got a weaker set for CF. already sold the redline though, sorry.
