Default My horn doesnt work Any electrical help appreciated.

well recently my horn stopped working and some times my cruise control is unable to turn on . a couple restarts and the cruise comes back.
The horn def never works though ive been living with it but ive never realized how much i need the horn (for dumb 18wheelers and ppl that are dumb) .

i thought just taking the power off the battery would do the trick but nope. Any suggestions? I dont have anymore warranty thats why im asking. my dad checked a few fuses but they all read ok.

EDIT my security system works still is that the same horn? When i press the emergency button. Looks like a problem somewhere btween where i press and the horn

I mean..theres not two different horns..so i would imagine that theres something wrong with the wiring from the steering wheel and all that. Take it to the dealership even though you dont have warranty..thats a hazard in a way. They should fix it.

check the harnesses that go to the spiral wheel (harness behind the steering wheel that allow the wheel to spin) maybe a loose harness there.

yeah.. check plug to the spiral cable, the horn and cruise control, and steering wheel controls go thru the same plug

your clock spring is busted. when you turn the steering wheel try to listed for a click like sound. your cruise control will start to flash when you turn the wheel also., try to get a clock spring on ebay. thats your best bet.
