My new toy!!!!!!
So i went to the yamaha dealer to get a little Raptor 50 atv for my nephew for his christmas and birthday all in one. Well before we went I specifically told my brother not to let me get in there and come out with anything at all. So this is what the Raptor 50 looks like that we came out of there with....ha ha yeah right. Of course my brother didn't do his job of not letting me get anything. We ended up coming out with 2 Raptor 250 quads. ha ha..
These things are built for pure speed and have NOTHING to do with mudding or off roading.... ha ha Although we did hit up the bottoms ha ha.... hope that it being covered in mud doesn't hurt it. ha ha
my 2008 Black Raptor GYTR 250 quad. (even has some BSP in parts of it)
and my bro's
both and shots of him (of course his crazy butt was the first one to find mud)
we had a blast riding these things down in the bottoms. Now i got a new toy to mod out and clean the heck out of ha ha....
What's cool is i laid down some pin stripe paint on my seat to make it match my tC. ha ha

what kind camera/wide angle lens u use for these..awesome shots and a bit of vignetting but it adds to the picture i think...yea the raptors are awesome, about the only fourwheeler ive that could keep up with the dirt bikes i used to ride on trails....enjoy!

Congrats on the quads... they are alot of fun, and before you know it your going to outgrow that 250 and get into the 450 realm. I started on a 250ex and LOVED it. Your 250 is way better and more advanced though, so it's twice as nice.
Had a z400 and wrecked it, resulting in a broken collar bone. So I bought an 07 honda 450r.
Hope i'm not imposing by throwing up a pic. Best hobby/funnest sport there is IMO.
^ my brother in law was more excited about it than I was. Haha

the camera was a canon 5d body with a 24-105 f4 L lens and a 15mm f2.8 fisheye lens. The fisheye shots are the ones at night.
The saturation prolly seems off cause i edited them in iPhoto on my mac and i am still getting used to that program. It doesn't let me do NEAR as much as photoshop but it's what i have until i can get photoshop for my mac.
The focus is off on the night shots cause it was in pitch black basically. I was shooting at like 1600 iso and it still was hard to get a good exposure even with my fisheye on 2.8.
My nephew doesn't get to ride it by himself at all but he will still be the first to tell u that the ATV is HIS and not his daddy's ha ha
Heck he even cleans it and his helmet after we get done muddin.

Congrats on the buy!!!
the 250's are all right bikes considering its the old Warrior motor and frame with the 250 raptor plastics on them....just dont count on them being really reliable....the valves will end up going out on you and it wont be pretty
