Default my passenger window makes a squeal...

my windows aren't tinted or anything, but sometimes, when i roll down my window, there's a sqeal when it's almost completely down. does anyone know a fix for this? i'm planning to tint my windows and i don't want it to get scratched if this poses a problem. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

it's happening w/my xB.. sorta similar; but the window motor is louder (buzzes louder) on the way down; passenger front side...

it could be a little build up of wax maybe/tree sap on the upper edge of the window that makes the noise...

is it a consistent noise? or does it happen every so often... also, what kind of squeal? describe it?

Its the rubber seal on the window, its probably dried out. If this is the case, from what i know how to fix it is this:
Roll down window, clean off the rubber seals. If it still squeeks roll down and use some lithium grease on the rubber, let it dry, rub off what is left.

if anyone else has suggestions, thats cool. This is just from previous experience.

As bad as that sounds, mine is worse. The drivers-side window on my Grand AM doesn't work if you use the auto-down feature, which is hard not to do. Also if you put the window down all the way at all, you can't get it back up. Makes for a bad situation on rainy days. And to top it all off, the power locks don't work on the passenger door... and my transmission slips. It's a 95' Grand AM so I can't expect a whole lot to go right, but that's why it's only worth $500, and why i'm gettin my tC. So getting back on topic, I wouldn't mind trading up for a tC with a squeeky non-tinted window.
